Aloha from the dog ranch! GREAT NEWS!! We've finally found Blanco a perfect forever family! He's been worth the wait, but he really deserves the extra attention and lack of calamity that a forever family will bring. They close on their new house at the end of month and will be ready for him then. They even have a toddler, which is great for Blanco as he LOVES kids and is so patient and calm with them. And the fact that he's deaf didn't phase them a bit. We've had so many bad applications on him (like the lady with 9 dogs in the city, the lady with 3 other dogs chained in the back yard, etc) but finally!!! Finally a worthy family and we were willing to wait forever for him, he's the angel of the house.

The new girl... And those of you who know me or do rescue work, just sit a moment to read.
This 6 week old Blue Heeler pup was labeled as a pit bull at an un-named local shelter (ok, some people make mistakes) but when Rhy walked in they had slated this girl to be put down b/c she's a "pit mix". SHE'S 6 WEEKS OLD. Who cares if she WAS? But she's NOT, and there's alot of people who would love a good cattle dog. And there's alot of people who would love a cute blue girl like this. ANd boy does she have personality to spare! (now with Monkey sounds! YEEEE! ) Miss Independent should have been her name, but the shelter was calling her Jasmine... I think we'll stick with that.
