Well, Rhywnn's Kids has now expanded....
Yesterday Rhy and I went to the Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter to do some volunteer work (they are so nice and try so hard there). Their laundry was so backed up so we went to start and saw this lonely little Ferret back there. Yeah, you can guess the rest right? Anyway, he was back where the ferile cats are cryin and laundry is going and they have NO Ferret equipment, etc... So I called a friend and borrowed their Ferret condo (thanks Norm and Mary, you guys rock!) and we went to PetsMart and bought a harness, food, treats, toys, etc. Carried him around everywhere, gave him a bath, trimmed his nails, and all the good stuff and he never once bit either of us. He's sweet. Young and playful, though he's never had a proper cage with room to climb so he has no muscle tone. Poor guy. We put him in the Ferret condo with multi-levels, the hammock, food and little nooks and crannies for him to play in and it blew his little mind. He played and then crashed so hard, he slept all night!
*lol* my cat Tigger is freaked out at this giant rat- thing. Not that she's ever seen a rat, but this is too funny
